DIMENSIONS: 51" wide. 78" high. 20" internal depth.

As with the great majority of 19th century linen presses this piece separates for transport into upper cupboard and lower chest.

All the original high-sided linen slides are available as required. Photos can be provided upon request.

The internal depth of a wardrobe (from front to back) should be 18" (46cms.) if it is intended for everyday use. 

Spare room wardrobes can have a reduced internal depth since the clothes can be hung at a slight angle - this is based on the assumption that guests aren't coming for a prolonged period...if they are, you may have other more important concerns!

The internal drop for hanging clothes needs to be around 38" (96 cms.). If you're thinking of economising on space, then with one rail above another for shorter clothes (shirts trousers etc.) a minimum internal height should be 72" (183 cms.).
