Antique pine two drawer wardrobe, dismantles for transport.
Actual dimensions: 51" wide x 76" high x 18" internal depth.
Triple wardrobes almost invariably dismantle to go up stairways and for transport purposes. Double wardrobes often don't separate. We can advise prior to purchase.
The internal depth of a wardrobe (from front to back) should be at least 18" (46cms.) if it is intended for everyday use.
Spare room wardrobes can have a reduced internal depth since the clothes can be hung at a slight angle - this is based on the assumption that guests aren't coming for a prolonged period...if they are, you may have other more important concerns!
The internal drop for hanging clothes needs to be around 38" (96 cms.). If you're thinking of economising on space, then with one rail above another for shorter clothes (shirts trousers etc.) a minimum internal height should be 72" (183 cms.).
We can fit hanging rails to your requirements.
