51" wide x 80" high x 19.5" internal depth - ample for clothes hangers.
A set of three moveable shelves for the right-hand side compartment is also available
The piece separates for transport/access, viz; cornice, 2 hanging compartments and plinth.
The vertical drop in each hanging compartment is 58". If the piece is to be used as a gentleman's wardrobe, we can reconfigure the internal layout so that there is an upper shelf in each compartment and hanging space for jackets below.
Talk about versatile...!
Triple wardrobes almost invariably dismantle to go up stairways and for transport purposes. Double wardrobes often don't separate. We can advise prior to purchase.
The internal depth of a wardrobe (from front to back) should be 18" (46cms.) if it is intended for everyday use.
Spare room wardrobes can have a reduced internal depth since the clothes can be hung at a slight angle - this is based on the assumption that guests aren't coming for a prolonged period...if they are, you may have other more important concerns!
The internal drop for hanging clothes needs to be around 38" (96 cms.). If you're thinking of economising on space, then with one rail above another for shorter clothes (shirts trousers etc.) a minimum internal height should be 72" (183 cms.).
We can fit hanging rails to your requirements.
